Motivational letter

My name is Filep Sándor-Dávid, I am a student of the Reformed High School from Cluj, I am in the tenth class.I was born in 10th of October 1999, at Cluj.I spent my childhood at Szek, I started school at Szamosujvar,here I finished my first 8 classes.During these years I was learning to play in piano for 8 years.After this I went to the Reformed High School.Here I tried to represent the school with going to contests like the Aranka Gyorgy country sized contest, Olimpics from Hungarian language and history, Xantus Janos biology contest, but I also was part of the team that represented the school in the contest named Guardians of our legacy,but later I had to leave the team because I had no time for this too.In my free time I go to swim, I often run in the park, but when I can I go volunteering, for example I was volunteer at the Hungarian Days of Cluj.I am also choirmember,I like it and I try to take part in the school’s events.

I heard about the project last year, but I didn’t joined because i don’t felt ready.That journey would be a great chance for me to meet new people,I always wanted to try how life’s going in other countries.I never been in Netherlands before, but how I heard it’s a beautiful country.With a project like this I should improve my English knowledge, I should try myself how can I succeed in other countries with my English skills.It would be a test for myself too, I want to demonstrate to myself so I can succeed in a new place.I am curious about western european life,the way of they think about each other,strangers,culture,past and religion.Beside this I am curious about their educational sistem, I heard it’s very different from ours,and I would like to try how it is.Overall I think this project is a rare chance what I have to try.

I think I am ideal for the project, because I am communicative and I like meeting new people and I can talk with almost anyone about anything. Beside this I always try to be nice and I am interested about every new thing and I always try to learn interesting things. This trip would be a good way to learn for me. If somebody asks about Romania, Hungary or about our situation in Transylvania, I can explain to him the situations what I think is a good thing. So I have knowledge about our way of life, our culture and I can explain this to anybody with pleasure. My English knowledge is also good enough to represent the school good in Netherlands.

I really would like to get this chance because I don’t know if I would have a chance like this in the future. I only heard good from my friends about the project, and I would like to go to Netherlands to get experience.
