Biography

Missy Margera (maiden name Rothstein) was born in Springfield, Pennsylvania.[citation needed] She attended West Chester East High School, where she met future husband Bam Margera. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors degree in communications.[2] Missy first reached the public eye when she and Bam starred in the MTV reality show Bam's Unholy Union.[1] The show documented the weeks leading up to the couple's wedding.[1] During the filming of the series she was approached by Playboy to pose nude with Bam as a guest photographer, and she obliged, though reluctantly as was chronicled on the show. They married in February 2007, at the Loews Hotel in downtown Philadelphia. [3]

In 2008, she starred in Bam Margera Presents: Where the#$&% Is Santa?, along with some of Bams' other family and Chris Ulbricht.[4]

In July 2009, Bam was taken to the hospital by paramedics and state troopers from his West Chester home after his wife Missy called 911 after a four day alcohol binge.[5][6] On the drinking binge, Bam said: "I may get a divorce . . . booze helps." [5] Subsequently, Bam started taking antidepressants and seeing a counsellor to save his marriage.
