Új bútorokról kell információt kérni a cégem számára: bemutatni a cég foglalkozását, érdeklődni környezetbarát bútorokról, és a régi bútorok elszállításban segítséget kérni.

The leadership of our company decided to change the older, used furniture to newer one therefore I would like whether you could send me some detailed information about the price of furniture. válasza:Tartalmilag oké, nyelvhelyességi szempontból van benne néhány érdekes rész, ezek közül a súlyosabbak:
- environment friendly, nem environmental ~
- your co. produce(s) (cégről egyes- és többesszámban is beszélhetsz, de a passzív nem jó itt, hiszen nem a céget gyártják)
- management jobb szó a vezetőségre, a leadership elvont fogalom, és eléggé mást jelent
- furniture-re, mivel UC, nem mondhatod, hogy one, igazából elég annyi, hogy hange the older, used furniture, hiszen az egyértelmű, hogy újabbra akarják cserélni
- I would like whether you could send me - ennek sajnos semmi értelme. Írhatod helyette, hogy I would like you to send me, vagy I would appreciate it if you could send me...
Tartalmilag egy furcsaság van benne szerintem: nem tiszta, hogy miért fontos a rendelés szempontjából, hogy a cég már sokféle gyógyszert állított elő. Bemutatkozásnak elég annyi, hogy Our company has been producing drugs since 1970.

I have been working at small bank in Budapest as an Informatics of Engineering for 7 years and I am responsible for the computer-park of the bank. The current computers have already used for 10 years and they have been antiquated during the years. It means the computers are slow and sometimes restart themselves when the users work upon a document so they can lose their data. Therefore I decided to change all of the old computers. I would like to order 12 new computers which is contained 4 GB RAMs, 500 GB capacity of HDD and LPT port which is the most important interface for me. I have already order from you five times. Could I buy the computers on discount price? Furthermore, will you be able to get out my order for next Wednesday?

1. Az Informatics of Engineer(ing nélkül) az miért nem jó? Úgy gondoltam, hogy Mérnök Informatikusként dolgozok ott.
2. they have been antiquated during the years. Ezzel mi lehet a gond? Az évek folyamán elavultak. Nyelvtanilag helytelen?
3. szótár szerint a GET OUT jelentése is az hogy kiszállítani. Vagy ez nagyon eltér a DELIVER-től?

válasza:1. Akkor már Information Engineer. Of semmiképp, hiszen nem a mérnökNEK AZ informatikája :)
2. Nem javaslom a passzívot, mert elavulTAK, nem pedig elavulttá lettek téve. Technikai cuccokra nem igazán mondanám, hogy antiquated - de ha neked szimpatikusabb, akkor hagyd azt.
3. Hivatalos szövegben deliver, de ha nagyon informálisra veszed a figurát, akkor is get THEM out TO OUR FIRM.
4. Általában érdemes egynyelvű szótárat használni, ha másra nem, legalább ellenőrizd a példamondatokat, hogy tényleg úgy használják-e az adott szót, ahogy te elképzeled :S
