Global warming is an unequivocal and continuing rise in the average temperature of the Earth, in the course of which the ocenans' and the near surface air's temperature rises.
The reason for this are that:
- the large amount of carbon dioxide emission,
- the petrol powered cars emit a lot of harmful substances into the environment,
- the methane emission,
- and the deforestation.
The global warming changes the whole planet.
Likely consequences of effects of global warming are
- the sea level rises
- the disappearance of coral reefs
- the formation of uninhabitable areas
- the extinction of animal and plant species
- the consecutive crop failure
- the desertification of previously fertile areas
- and last but not least the extreme clime
for example:
- frequent droughts
- extraordinary rainfall and snowstorms
- floods
- tsunamis
- hurricanes
- landsliders and so on.
Because of global warming the thick ice caps begin to melt gradually, which are located in the Earth's north and south poles.
Because of the melting of the ice caps the level of the sea water rises, so the continental areas may get under water.
Many million people may die like this.
According to scientists, Netherlands may get under water if the global warming continue.
Nowadays the most people don't care the consequences of the global warming, but I think it is a serious problem and we have to do something before the death of the Earth.

Ennek az okai:
- a hatalmas mennyiségű szén-dioxid kibocsátás,
- a benzin meghajtású autók sok káros anyagot juttatnak a környezetbe,
- a metánkibocsátás,
- és az erdőírtások.
A globális felmelegedés megváltoztatja az egész bolygót.
A globális felmelegedés hatásainak várható következményei:
- a tengerszint emelkedése
- a korallzátonyok eltűnése
- lakhatatlan területek kialakulása
- állat-és növényfajok kipusztulása
- egymást követő rossz termések
- a korábban termékeny területek elsivatagodása
- és végül de nem utolsósorban a szélsőséges éghajlat, például:
- gyakori aszályok
- rendkívüli csapadékok és hóviharok
- árvizek
- szőkőárak
- hurrikánok
- földcsúszamlások és így tovább..
A globális felmelegedés miatt a vastag jégsapkák folyamatosan olvadni kezdenek, amik a föld északi és déli pólusain vannak.
Az olvadó jégsapkák miatt a tenger szintje emelkedik, ezért a szárazföldi területek víz alá kerülhetnek.
Sok millió ember halhat meg így.
A tudósok szerint Hollandia teljesen víz alá kerülhet, ha a globális felmelegedés folytatódik.
Manapság a legtöbb embert nem érdekli a globális felmelegedés következményei, de azt hiszem, hogy ez egy komoly probléma és kell csinálnunk valamit a föld halála előtt.

Today, most people do not care about the impacts of global warming. I do believe it is a serious problem we are facing, and as a community, we need to act before the Earth disappears.
